Journal of Evolutionary Science

Aims and Scope

Journal of Evolutionary Science (JES) is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research in evolutionary biology. JES fosters a deeper understanding of evolutionary principles and their impact across various domains, including genomics, medicine, anthropology, and behavioral sciences. The journal also embraces interdisciplinary research integrating biological, ecological, mathematical, and anthropological approaches to evolutionary processes.

Scope and Focus: JES welcomes original research and review articles on a broad spectrum of topics, including:

  • Evolutionary Genetics & Genomics: Population genetics, gene transcription, genome evolution, and molecular mechanisms of evolution.
  • Evolutionary Ecology & Development: Species adaptation, morphological diversification, and ecological interactions.
  • Phylogenetics & Comparative Biology: Evolutionary relationships, phylogeography, and biogeography.
  • Behavioral Evolution & Evolutionary Medicine: Evolution of behavior, disease evolution, and evolutionary perspectives in healthcare.
  • Conservation Biology & Global Ecology: Biodiversity, conservation strategies, and ecological sustainability.
  • Computational Evolutionary Science: Bioinformatics, evolutionary modeling, and algorithmic approaches in gene structure analysis.

We encourage submissions that investigate the intersection of artificial intelligence(AI), evolutionary algorithms, and the evolutionary implications of AI technologies. Here the list of keywords is specified, which resembles the scope of our journal, but is not confined to keywords that we specified. Users can also provide us with recent keywords at [email protected]
