Call for Papers
Journal of Journal of New Developments in Chemistry invites original, well designed research and scholarly reviews that advance the chemical sciences.
Journal of Journal of New Developments in Chemistry is a peer reviewed, open access journal focused on new discoveries, methods, and applications in chemistry. We publish work that advances understanding of chemical phenomena, materials, and processes, with clear experimental or theoretical foundations.
Submissions should be rigorous, reproducible, and relevant to the chemistry community. We welcome interdisciplinary work that connects chemistry with materials science, energy, environmental research, or related applied fields, provided the core contribution is chemical science.

Chemistry often connects to materials science, energy, environmental applications, and biomedical technologies. We welcome interdisciplinary work when the primary contribution is chemical insight, mechanism, or method development. Studies that translate chemical principles into scalable processes or practical applications are encouraged when evidence is rigorous and reproducible.
For applied research, explain how chemical findings inform performance, stability, or safety. Provide clear links between molecular level results and real world outcomes.
- A clear research question linked to chemical insight or innovation
- Methods that are reproducible and transparent
- Appropriate analytical or spectroscopic evidence
- Interpretation grounded in data and chemical theory
- Clear implications for chemistry or related applications
Authors should describe reagents, conditions, and instrumentation so reviewers and readers can assess reproducibility.
- Rigorous peer review by chemistry subject experts
- Open access visibility for global chemistry audiences
- Professional production, DOI assignment, and archiving
- Emphasis on data transparency and reproducibility
- Support for interdisciplinary chemistry applications
All manuscripts undergo an initial scope and integrity check, followed by single blind peer review. Editors evaluate relevance, methodological quality, and ethical compliance. Authors may be asked to revise to improve clarity, reporting, or chemical interpretation.
When revisions are requested, provide a point by point response to reviewer comments. This helps the editorial team evaluate changes efficiently.
Journal of Journal of New Developments in Chemistry follows COPE and ICMJE guidance. All submissions must be original, not under review elsewhere, and include appropriate ethics or safety statements where applicable.
We require a Data Availability Statement for all manuscripts and encourage reporting checklists when relevant. AI tools may be used for language assistance but must be disclosed in a dedicated statement.
For experimental chemistry, include safety and hazard information for critical reagents and procedures, along with any regulatory compliance statements that apply.
We encourage authors to share data, code, and analytical protocols when feasible. If data sharing is restricted, describe the reason and provide a path for qualified access. Clear reporting of methods and raw data supports reproducibility and enables peer verification of results.
Articles are published open access to maximize visibility and impact across chemistry and interdisciplinary audiences. Article Processing Charges apply after acceptance. See the APC page for details.
We publish special issues focused on targeted chemistry themes. If submitting to a special issue, indicate the special issue title in the Cover Letter field during submission. Explore current opportunities on the Ongoing Special Issue page.
