Journal of Plant and Animal Ecology

Aims and Scope

Journal of Plant and Animal Ecology (JPAE) is a peer-reviewed, international open-access journal that serves as a platform for the exchange and dissemination of research on plant and animal ecology. JPAE publishes both fundamental and applied research, covering topics such as taxonomy, conservation, species interactions, population dynamics, and the impacts of environmental changes on ecosystems.

The journal focuses on the effects of climate change, anthropogenic stress, land use changes, and deforestation on plant and animal ecology. Research on behavioral ecology, biodiversity management, paleoecology, and ecological conservation is particularly encouraged. JPAE also welcomes studies exploring genetics, molecular ecology, and ecological adaptations in various terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems.

Key areas of interest include sustainable habitat management, biotic interactions, ecological restoration, predator-prey dynamics, symbiosis, and evolutionary ecology. By integrating research from multiple disciplines, JPAE aims to promote knowledge sharing and facilitate discussions that contribute to the conservation and sustainable management of ecosystems worldwide. We welcome studies on artificial intelligence (AI) applications in ecological research, such as species identification, habitat mapping, and ecological modeling.
