Editorial independence

Editorial decisions are based on scope, scientific quality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, reporting quality, and relevance to the journal.

APC payment, funding status, fee-relief inquiries, membership and institutional affiliation do not influence the decision.

Peer review: Single-blind by default; double-blind review is available on request.

Manuscripts that proceed to external peer review are normally evaluated by at least two independent subject-matter experts.

What the APC supports

The charge supports the publication workflow after acceptance; it does not purchase a favorable or faster editorial decision.

Editorial administration

Manuscript tracking, reviewer coordination, decision records and research-integrity checks.

Production

Copyediting, typesetting, proof preparation and publication of the final article formats.

Identifiers and metadata

Preparation and maintenance of article metadata and DOI registration where the identifier is deposited.

Open access

Public hosting and access to the published article under the journal’s stated license.

Fee-relief inquiries, invoicing and withdrawal

Fee-relief inquiries
Contact the editorial office before invoicing to discuss available terms. An inquiry does not affect peer review or acceptance.
Invoices
After acceptance, the invoice is sent to the corresponding author or an identified institutional finance contact. Contact the editorial office for grant or institutional documentation.
Withdrawal policy

Authors should contact the editorial office promptly and wait for written confirmation before submitting the work elsewhere.

Manuscripts withdrawn within 3 days of submission are not subject to a withdrawal charge.

Manuscripts withdrawn more than 3 days after submission incur a withdrawal charge equal to 30% of the journal's APC.

Authors must receive official withdrawal confirmation before submitting the manuscript to another journal.
