Biography

Dr. Evans Asenso is a Lecturer at the University of Ghana, Legon, Greater Accra, where he contributes to research and teaching in computational and technological applications for agriculture and security. He earned his PhD from South China Agricultural University, establishing expertise at the intersection of machine learning, Internet of Things (IoT), and smart farming systems. Dr. Asenso's most influential work, "Intrusion Detection Using Machine Learning for Risk Mitigation in IoT-Enabled Smart Irrigation in Smart Farming" (2022), has garnered 159 citations, reflecting significant impact in the field of agricultural cybersecurity and precision agriculture. With over 31 indexed publications, his research addresses critical challenges in leveraging advanced technologies to enhance food security and sustainable farming practices.
