Journal of Fetal Surgery (JFS) is an international, open access journal that focuses on innovative surgical techniques and advances in the management of fetal diseases and disorders. The journal aims to promote the exchange of latest research and clinical expertise on fetal surgery and its related specialties worldwide.


JFS publishes original research articles, clinical trials, case reports, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, editorials, and other contributions that advance the field of fetal surgery. Submissions are rigorously peer-reviewed and evaluated for accuracy, relevance and scientific merit. The interdisciplinary content provides a platform for clinicians and researchers to publish their work and to share best practice in areas such as prenatal diagnosis, surgical management and outcomes.


Submission Process

The manuscripts can be submitted online through the JFS submission portal. The authors are required to provide a cover letter, a brief statement of the research, illustrations and photographs (where applicable) for all the scenarios authors can refer to instructions for authors in JFS . The manuscripts are reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief or assignee and papers that are deemed suitable are sent for peer review.

To ensure a fair and ethical publishing process, the journal charges Article Processing Charges (APC) for all accepted manuscripts from author’s.
