Aims and Scope

 

Implementation science is the examination of techniques to support the acceptance and assimilation of evidence-based operations, interventions, and strategies into paced health care and public health. Journal of Implementation Science plays a prominent role in determining barriers to, and enablers of, effective comprehensive health programming and policymaking, and advantaging that knowledge to develop evidence-based innovations in practical delivery approaches. 

Its chief mission is to publish research relevant to the scientific study of methods, in the form of Research, Review, Literature review, Conference proceedings, Case reports, Short communication, Thesis, Letter to the editor, and Editorials. to encourage the uptake of research findings into routine healthcare in scientific, organizational or practice contexts.

 


JIS designs to bring in simultaneously investigators and researchers devoted to the uncompromising assessment of the implementation of evidence-based psychosocial interventions.

 

JIS is an interdisciplinary publication and welcomes contributions from academia, clinicians, policy makers, and industry. It publishes research on effective approaches for the translation of knowledge into evidence-based healthcare practice and policy. The journal also publishes reviews, research protocols and editorials.

 

Authors of JIS are encouraged to use rigorous research designs to evaluate the effectiveness of implementation and policy interventions and rigorously examine the factors associated with successful implementation. The journal focuses on translations of best practices, outcomes and effectiveness of interventions. 

 

JIS publishes research from a broad range of disciplines, spanning many levels of analysis. These may involve studies and reviews of individual and organisational-level factors, policy and system-level dynamics, and methodological, ethical and legal issues associated with research and practice.

 

The journal strives to provide a balanced and comprehensive overview of the latest research and best practices in the field of implementation science. It is committed to promoting interdisciplinary collaborations and building bridges between research, practice and policy. JIS thus focuses on the curation, synthesis and dissemination of research that will facilitate the translation of evidence-based approaches into policy and practice.
