Aims and Scope

Journal of Neurological Research And Therapy (ISSN: 2470-5020) stands as a distinguished, peer-reviewed, open-access publication dedicated to the dissemination of pioneering research that propels our understanding of the intricacies of the brain and nervous system. With a focus on neurological disorders, encompassing their pathophysiology, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention, this journal serves as a global platform for researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals to share groundbreaking advancements that hold the promise of transforming patient care.

The scope of the JNRT is broad and encompasses a wide range of topics related to neurology, including Artificial Intelligence and their applications in the treatment of neurological disorders.

Key areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Neurodegenerative Diseases: Studies on the causes, mechanisms, and treatments of disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and Huntington’s disease. JNRT encourages research on novel therapeutic approaches, including drug development, gene therapy, and regenerative medicine.
  • Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI): Research focused on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of brain injuries, including pharmacological and rehabilitative interventions aimed at improving patient recovery and long-term outcomes.
  • Neurological Disorders in Children: Investigations into pediatric neurology, covering conditions such as epilepsy, cerebral palsy, neurodevelopmental disorders, and congenital neurological diseases. The journal supports studies on both conventional treatments and emerging therapeutic innovations.
  • Neurosurgical Interventions: Research on minimally invasive techniques, robotic-assisted neurosurgery, deep brain stimulation (DBS), and neuroprosthetics, which have the potential to revolutionize the field.
  • Neuroimaging and Biomarkers: Advances in MRI, PET scans, and molecular biomarkers that aid in the early diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment monitoring of neurological disorders.
  • Neuropharmacology and Drug Development: Studies on novel drugs, targeted therapies, and personalized medicine approaches to treat neurological diseases effectively.
