Aims and Scope
 

Journal of Osteoarthritis and Cartilage (JOC) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to the clinical, radiographic, histological, and molecular assessment of osteoarthritis and cartilage biology. JOC serves as a global platform for researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals to share cutting-edge advancements in the pathophysiology, diagnosis, treatment, and management of osteoarthritis, as well as insights into cartilage structure, function, and repair mechanisms.  
 

The journal covers a broad spectrum of topics, including but not limited to:  

• Osteoarthritis Pathophysiology: Understanding the molecular, genetic, and biomechanical mechanisms underlying cartilage degeneration and joint disease progression.  
• Clinical and Radiographic Assessment: Innovations in diagnostic imaging, biomarkers, and proteomics for early detection and monitoring of osteoarthritis.  
• Biomechanics and Joint Function: Research on joint load distribution, movement mechanics, and the role of cartilage in maintaining joint stability.
