Biography

Dr. Zainab Taha is an Associate Professor at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, where she conducts research focused on maternal and child health in the region. She earned her PhD from Cornell University and has contributed to the field through studies examining perinatal health outcomes and associated risk factors. Her most-cited work, "Factors Associated with Preterm Birth and Low Birth Weight in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates" (2020), has received 61 citations and reflects her commitment to addressing public health challenges in the Gulf context. Dr. Taha has authored over 16 indexed publications, establishing her expertise in reproductive and population health research.
