Aims & Scope
The Journal of Human Health Research (JHHR) publishes peer-reviewed research with a direct and meaningful connection to human health, from the individual patient to populations. Its scope covers nine connected areas: clinical and translational health research; public, population and global health; epidemiology and disease prevention; mental, behavioral and social health; nutrition and metabolic health; environmental and occupational health; health services, policy, economics and implementation; rehabilitation, allied health and quality of life; and biomedical and preclinical research with direct human-health relevance.

Keep the health connection central
Research without a clear, substantive connection to human health is unlikely to be a strong fit for JHHR.
Basic, laboratory, animal and preclinical studies are considered only when they address a clearly defined question with direct and meaningful relevance to human health.
